The archives for the city of Chemnitz, Germany

The holdings comprise the official tradition of the city council and of its individual institutions, and extend back to the beginnings of urban administrative activity. The delivery begins in the 16th-17th century. Century, the oldest document is from 1296 and the oldest city book from the year 1426. Furthermore, the archives contain the localities between 1844 and 1999 localities.
